As part of the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), YCPA invites all eligible individuals to take advantage of our FREE provincial and federal tax preparation services.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Maixum yearly income of $35,000 or less for single individuals
- Maximum total yearly income of $45,000 or less for couples, plus $2,500 per child
- No tax returns will be filed for the following individuals: those who are deceased, bankrupt, have a capital gain or loss, earn income as a self-employed person or have employment expenses, receive rental income, have a gain on the sale of a principal residence, have foreign-source income, or own foreign assets worth more than $100,000.
We reserve the right to refuse to provide tax services to individuals who do not meet the criteria listed above.
EXAMPLE OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
To help us complete your tax return, please bring a copy of all your federal and provincial tax slips for the 2024 tax year, such as:
- Federal: T4, T4A, T4A OAS, T3, T5, T2202, etc.
- Provincial: Relevé 1, Relevé 2, Relevé 16, Relevé 3, Relevé 8, etc.
If possible, please provide a copy of your 2023 Notice of Assessment, 2023 tax returns, and any letters from the Canada Revenue Agency or Revenu Québec. These documents will be used for reference.
