"Accessibility to justice, diversity and inclusion, and the importance of giving back to the community are issues and values that are important to us. YCPA’s Legal Clinic project is therefore an ideal opportunity to bring together Asian legal professionals to provide legal information to our members of the Asian community, who often face problems of accessibility to justice, particularly due to language barriers and lack of knowledge of the Canadian and Quebec legal system." - Serena Zhang, President of YCPA.
After summarizing the reason for your visit to a volunteer at the reception desk, we will then refer you to one of our team members whose specialization is related to your case. You will then receive the legal information relevant to your case. If more assistance is needed, we will redirect you to the appropriate resources. For an effective consultation, we recommend that you arrive prepared. Bring any documents that may help us understand your issue.
