Director of the Orchid Ball
I am proud to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the YCPA, where I contribute to advancing our mission of empowering, uniting, and propelling young Asian professionals and entrepreneurs. As Chair of the Orchid Ball, YCPA’s most prestigious annual event, I am focused on creating an unforgettable experience that highlights our cultural heritage and fosters a sense of community. Drawing on years of event-planning expertise, including organizing large-scale cultural celebrations at Montréal’s Place des Arts, I aim to elevate this event to new heights.
In my professional capacity, I am a lawyer at Gowling WLG’s Montréal office, specializing in cyber security and data protection. I provide clients with strategic advice on navigating complex regulatory environments, ensuring compliance, and managing risks. This work has sharpened my problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and project management skills, all of which I bring to my role on the YCPA Board.
Fluent in English, French, Mandarin, and Spanish, I value building connections across cultures and fostering inclusivity in all my endeavors. I am excited to work alongside my fellow board members to further the growth of YCPA, champion cultural awareness, and provide meaningful opportunities for our community.
