Vice President
My name is Timothy Lan and it is with great pleasure and pride to be part of the Board of Director as the Vice-President of the YCPA for the 2025-2026 mandate. I graduated from the University of Toronto in Human Biology and got a Master’s degree from Université de Montréal in Biomedical Sciences.
I have always believed in the importance of developing a strong sense of community and belonging to a cause you support, as this is what gives us the confidence to push our limits and aim further. It is with this same state of mind that I intend to use to promote the mission of the YCPA which is to unite, empower and propel young Asian professionals and entrepreneurs in Montreal. As Vice President, my goal is to assist the professional and personal development of our members by creating that sense of belonging for all by connecting people within our community. The strength of our community lies in its members and its diversity. I also want to play a role in representing members of our community by giving them a platform so that they can be heard and so that they can share their experiences. I also plan to further promote the entrepreneurial spirit within the AJPC in order to better support people of Asian origin in carving out a place for themselves within the entrepreneurial and economic ecosystem in Montreal.
I hope to continue bringing a fresh and dynamic perspective to YCPA. I look forward to meeting as many members as possible, building lasting connections, and collaborating together on the many exciting projects we have planned for the next two years.
