Director of External Outreach
My first contact with YCPA was at the Orchid Ball in 2022. Subsequently, I attended several events in 2022 and 2023 where I had the opportunity to build connections with the members and learn more about YCPA's mission: "to unite, strengthen, and propel young Asian professionals and entrepreneurs". My motivation to join the board of directors lies in my desire to proactively contribute to the promotion of this mission. I recognize the importance of the network as a stepping stone for professional and personal growth, as well as the support of a community early in on's career. On a personal level, being of Chinese origin but adopted, I have found in YCPA a place where I feel comfortable reconnecting with my roots.
I studied at HEC Montreal where I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting and I obtained my CPA title in 2020. From university, I have been involved in various committees, such as in sports and in the establishment of a tax clinic. I then began my career in auditing private companies at Deloitte and later in their business valuation team. Currently, I work in the investment and acquisition team at Groupe Brivia as a Manager, where I also hold the position of President of the Social Committee.
To contribute to the community, I serve as treasurer for Camp Amy Molson, where I was nominated this summer. The non-profit organization's mission is to provide more than 150 children from precarious backgrounds with a day camp experience.
I am honored to take a seat on the board of directors of YCPA where, as a team, we will create networking and training opportunities for our members to foster self-improvement and community engagement.
