Director of Leadership
Hi,
My name is Ai Quan Lam, and I am currently a Systems Analyst at the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ). I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Business Technology Management (BComm) from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business.
Over the years, my professional journey has been enriched by diverse experiences in both the public and private sectors, including roles at the CIUSSS, RBC, startups, Hydro-Québec, and now at RAMQ. These opportunities have given me a deep understanding of Quebec’s industries and strengthened my desire to contribute to my community.
This desire led me to become involved with YCPA, participating in events such as the Orchid Ball, the meal distribution for seniors in Chinatown, the mentorship program, and other events organized by the association.
Today, in addition to my involvement with YCPA, I am proud to be a member of the Génération d’impact of the Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Montréal—a cohort dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and creating positive and tangible impacts within Quebec organizations. Additionally, I also volunteer to promote initiatives that support mental health as well as healthcare and social services for our population.
Serving as YCPA’s Chair of Leadership is an honour and a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference within the Asian community in Quebec and across Canada. My goal as Director of Leadership is to empower young Asian professionals to develop skills aligned with their ambitions, encourage them to step out of their comfort zones and support them in achieving their career goals.
